Most couples marry someone they’re still getting to know. Aashini and Ram married the one person who already knew them completely.
Eight years together, already a year legally married — by the time they threw the celebration, there was nothing tentative left. “You’re the only person in the world who knows every single thought that goes through my head,” she told him. “You know my heart, you know my soul. You’re truly, truly, truly my soulmate.”
Ram, ever himself, put it his own way: “A lot of people who get married are nervous — they don’t know if they’re making the right choice. I’m 100% sure I made the right choice.” Then, grinning: “I love you… and I’m sure you’ll always be yelling at me too.”
They married in Dubai in December, in a celebration as bold and unmistakably them as everything else about them. #CowGoatMarried — and married for good.
